Today, is the first section of Music class. My teacher is Mr Herry Rajasa. Today we divided our class into 4 different instruments. I chose woodwind and I don't have to audition for the entry of the class. So i think i need to focusand practice in woodwind.

Today, i get the songs for my first assessment. Also, Mr Herry test us in scale which is C, F, and G. For the songs, we sang in front of audience. For the scale we copy the scale in paper. Next, I will memorise the western song for my assessment. I hope i can get good score.

Today, I learn about how to use blog in www.blogger .com. Also, we rehearsed for our 1st assessmnet. Our 1st assessment is singing western song. Well, we go into front of my friends and sing individually. My song was Heal the World song by Michael Jackson. I think, I need to practice for my assessment and memories the lyrics. I hope i can get good score.

Today is our assessment day. The assessment is singing individually the western song. I write my reflection in the book let. The time was not enough so I didn't sing. I saw my friends performance, that they nedd to go to front of audience and sing with confidently. However, i the time is limited and i didn't sing, i need to practice more so i can get good score.

Today is the day when I perform singing assessment. I go to front of my friends and sing Heal the World composed by Michael Jackson. I was little bit nervous because I was afraid of getting mistake. After that i finished my reflection on sheet of paper. Next, i need to imporve in singing skills and having confident when I sing or perform in front of my audience.

Today, in music class, we make poster which shows the pages for presentation that our group going to make. There are five different types of genres that our class going to present. popular, classic, rock and roll, country, and jazz. My group going to present about popular. First we wrote in poster, thae pages we are going to present and then we present what we wrote on the poster. Next, I will prepare for presentation and discuss with my group what part each of us going to take.

Today in music theory class, we learned about scale. We learned C, G, D, C, and E scale. We wrote what we know about the scale. I think scale is important when we want to play instrument or music. Then we learned about the chords of the music. At first it was confussing. Well, is the same like scale, we have to wrote the chord in the music book. Next, i need to practice hearing so I can get confident when we have hearing test.

Today is power point presentation assessment. We have five groups for presentation. Each group have one genre. There are popular, classical, jazz, rock n roll, and country. My group genre is popular. We present by using power point presentation. We go to front of audience and present what we got. The content was the data that we know baout popular and the most importatn things is the impact of popular to society. Next, I need to finish the presentation or make the final draft.

Today we discuss about video uploading problem. We share problems that we have when uploading video. Then we discuss about assessment number three, which is performing classical music. Mr.Herry said that we will choose classical music and play individually in fromnt of audience. After that, we do some exercise of the chord. If was easy but still confusing in minor natural and harmonic. Next, i need to re-study about the scale and the chord.

Today, we rehearsed the classic tune. I play saxophone and the song was amazing grace. How i play? Well, i play the song in front of audience. I had confident because i think i know the song. BY knowing the song, i think we can get more confident. However, i will not play the amzing grace but i will play Minuet in Eb in piano(saxophone=C). I need to practice hard so i can prepare for the rehearsal and assessment.

Today, we studied about the cord which is major 7 and dominant 7. Mr Herry told us to write the major 7 and dominant 7 from C to B. So we wrote it in the music notebook. We only wrote the major 7 and dominant 7 of each note. Then i listen to my friends which playing their classical tune. Next i will practice the classical tune for my assessment in Friday 03-09-2010. Also i need to update my blog and attach video.

Today at music class we had concert. Actually, it was classical tune assessment. I play my instrument saxophone. The song was Minuet in Eb. The composer is one of the famous musician named Johan Sebastian Bach. How i did? Well, I go to front of audience and play the song. I didn't focus and relax when i play so i got lot of mistakes. I was nervous when i paly. Next i need to got more experience so iwill have confident when i play the instrument. Also i wrote reflection in booklet about the performance. I need to update my blog too.
